The experience
Doors open while it is still light outside and the room builds from there. Early on it is a cocktail bar — low light, a seat at the counter, bartenders who will talk you through the list and build you something off it. By ten the lights have dropped, the sound system is doing its job and the floor is full.
The main floor sits under the lighting rig with the DJ booth at one end and the bar running the length of the room, double-staffed on weekends so you are not stuck in a queue. Raised booths look down over the dance floor — that is where bottle service lives. Off to one side there is a quieter lounge with low seating, a pool table and enough distance from the speakers to actually hear each other — and through the doorway past it, the casino floor: gaming machines open from doors, dealer-run blackjack, the roulette wheel on weekends and a poker room behind its own door.
House and chart-driven sets that build through the evening, with throwbacks landing exactly when the floor needs them. Our residents read the room rather than run a fixed playlist.

Four formats that run through our week. Line-ups rotate, so check with our team for this weekend’s DJs before you lock in a table.
The week ends on the dance floor. Our resident DJs open with slow-burn house and build into the big hours — chart cuts, throwbacks and the kind of drops that fill the floor fast. Doors open early for drinks and bar snacks, and the lights drop properly from 10pm.
Our biggest night. Full sound system, full lighting rig, guest DJs rotating through the booth alongside the residents. VIP booths run bottle service all evening and the bar is double-staffed so the queue keeps moving. Bringing a group? Book a table.
We dress the room, rework the cocktail list and brief the DJs to match. Decades nights, tropical sets, all-vinyl sessions, neon nights — the format changes, the energy does not. Check with our team for what is coming up next.
A private room with its own screen, sound and service button, plus open karaoke on the smaller stage midweek. Bring a group, order a round, argue about who goes first. The room takes up to ten and books out quickly on weekends.
Casino & gaming floor
Through the doorway past the side lounge, the casino floor runs its own night. Gaming machines are open from doors until close, our dealers run blackjack from Thursday to Sunday, the roulette wheel comes into play as the room fills on weekends, and the poker room sits behind its own door with its own service.
There is no membership, no sign-up and no charge to walk in — bring photo ID like you would for the rest of the venue. Low-stake tables open first in the evening so the floor is not only for people who already know the game, and our dealers will happily talk a first-timer through a hand before the cards come out. Order from your seat and the full cocktail, beer, wine and zero-alcohol list comes to you, with bar snacks on the same run.

VIP & bottle service
Our VIP booths come with bottle service, dedicated hosts, and the best view of the main floor. You walk in on the VIP line, your table is already set, and your host keeps the ice, mixers and glassware coming all night.
Booths seat six comfortably, tables take up to ten, and we can link two together for bigger groups. Pick a package and we will have everything on the table before your group arrives — including a shot round if you want the night to start properly.

Private parties
From themed party nights to private birthdays, our events team handles the details so you can focus on the fun. Tell us the headcount and the occasion and we will put the space, the bar service and the DJ brief together for you.
A reserved booth works for a dozen people who just want a base for the night. The party floor package gives you half the venue, our resident DJ and lighting programmed around your set. Work events run on a schedule with arrival cocktails, roaming snacks and a single invoice at the end. Capacity depends on setup — contact our events team and we will talk you through it.

A night out in Hamilton
Local nightlife
Hamilton has grown into a proper night-out city, and Waikato comes in for it. Dinner somewhere on the main strip, drinks here, then the floor until the lights go up — that is the shape most weekends take.
We built PowerupDash for that stretch of the night when people want a bar with real energy rather than another quiet corner — and we put a casino floor through the side door so the night has somewhere else to go without anybody having to leave the building. If you are after a long sit-down dinner, there are other places in town that do it better; what we do is cocktails, DJs, a dance floor that fills up and a gaming floor open every night. Groups come down from around the region for birthdays and hens weekends, work teams book booths for end-of-quarter drinks, and plenty of regulars simply treat Saturday here as a standing arrangement.

Good to know
Walk-ins are welcome and we hold floor space for them every night. That said, Friday and Saturday fill up — if you are arriving with a group, celebrating something, or you want a guaranteed seat, send an enquiry and we will reserve an area for you.
Smart casual. Clean shoes, no high-vis, no gang insignia. Our door team has the final say, and on themed nights a bit of effort goes a long way.
The gaming machine lounge is open from doors every night we are trading. Dealer-run blackjack runs Thursday to Sunday, roulette opens on Friday and Saturday as the room fills, and the poker room runs scheduled midweek sessions. Entry to the casino floor is 20+, the same as the venue, and there is no separate charge to walk in.
Entry is 20+. Please bring current photo ID — a New Zealand driver licence, Kiwi Access Card or passport. Our door team IDs everyone, every night.
Most nights entry is free. Selected guest-DJ and themed nights carry a door charge, and we will tell you before you arrive if you ask. VIP table and booth bookings always include entry for your group.
Bar snacks are available from open. On Friday and Saturday the kitchen keeps going well past midnight — if you are after loaded fries at 1am, we have you covered.
There is street parking around the venue plus public parking a short walk away. Plenty of our guests rideshare or taxi in, and the drop-off point is directly outside the entrance.
Yes. Groups of eight or more are best booked ahead so we can set up adjoining booths or a reserved zone. For anything over twenty, our events team will put a package together with bar service, snacks and a DJ brief.
