Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, what we do not, and how to change your mind at any time.
Your choice
Analytics and marketing cookies are off until you switch them on. Nothing is pre-ticked.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to function at all; others record how a site is used, or help measure advertising. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and tags — do comparable things, and everything in this policy applies to them too.
Our approach
We keep this simple. Necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them. Everything else is off until you say otherwise.
- No analytics or marketing cookies are set before you consent.
- No boxes are pre-ticked in our settings panel.
- Rejecting everything does not restrict any part of this website.
- Our cookie banner sits at the bottom of the page and never blocks the content behind it.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the footer of every page.
The categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Page delivery, form security, remembering your cookie choice. | Always on |
| Analytics | Understanding which pages are used and where visitors drop off. | Off |
| Marketing | Measuring our advertising and showing relevant ads about the bar, events and hire. | Off |
Strictly necessary cookies
These cannot be switched off because the site would not work properly without them. They do not track you across other websites and they are not used for advertising.
| Name | What it does | Stored |
|---|---|---|
| pud_consent_v1 | Records your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page. Stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to us. | Until you clear it |
| Session cookie | Keeps your session consistent while you move between pages and submit the enquiry form. | Session only |
Analytics cookies
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this website is used — which pages people read before enquiring, which ones they leave, and whether the site works on their device. It helps us improve the pages rather than identify individuals.
| Set by | What it does | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics (_ga) | Distinguishes one visitor from another so visits can be counted. | Up to 2 years |
| Google Analytics (_ga_<id>) | Maintains the session state for the property. | Up to 2 years |
Analytics sets the Consent Mode signal analytics_storage. With consent declined, no
analytics cookies are written.
Marketing cookies
If you allow marketing cookies, we can measure whether an advert led to an enquiry and show our ads to relevant audiences. We advertise the bar, our event nights, VIP service and private hire — nothing else.
| Set by | What it does | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads (_gcl_*) | Attributes an enquiry to the advert that brought you here. | Up to 90 days |
| Google advertising cookies | Audience and remarketing measurement across Google services. | Up to 2 years |
Marketing sets the Consent Mode signals ad_storage, ad_user_data and
ad_personalization. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services
at business.safety.google/privacy.
Google Consent Mode v2
This site implements Google Consent Mode v2. Before you make a choice, the following defaults apply on every page:
| Signal | Default state |
|---|---|
| ad_storage | denied |
| ad_user_data | denied |
| ad_personalization | denied |
| analytics_storage | denied |
| functionality_storage | granted |
| security_storage | granted |
We also enable URL passthrough and advertising data redaction, so that measurement can work in a limited, privacy-preserving way without advertising cookies while consent is denied. When you make a choice, a consent update is sent immediately and the relevant signals change.
Changing your choice
Use the link in the footer of any page. Your new choice takes effect straight away. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending the corresponding signals; cookies already set by Google can also be cleared through your browser.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings — usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking all cookies will break parts of most websites, including the part of ours that remembers your consent choice, so you may be asked again on each visit.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we add or remove a cookie, or change how consent is handled. The review date is shown at the top. For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
